Founded in 1993, Gerardo’s Italian Bakery is the dream and passion of Gerardo Sarli. In the bakery business for 30 years, Gerardo learned the craft as an apprentice to old time master bakers. Eventually he mastered everything from breads and pastries to elaborate wedding cakes. At that point his mom said, “now you know it all, why not make it your own and open your own bakery.”
Armed with great ideas and some of her recipes from Italy, Gerardo’s Italian Bakery was born. Gerardo’s focus is on product quality and customer satisfaction.
Gerardo’s at Bolton Orchards will offer more than sixty varieties of mini and single serving pastries ranging from Italian classics such as Cannoli, Tiramisu, Lobster Tails and Rum squares to more traditional items such as fudge brownies, whoopee pies and éclairs. Mix and match your favorites or order one of our elegant pastry trays offered in a variety of sizes.
Our traditional Italian cookie collection will include Anisette, Pizzette, Ricotta and Lemon along with butterballs, tarallis and biscotti.
The full size cakes available will be a wide range of Italian Cream cakes, traditional cakes such as Boston Cream, Carrot and Cheesecake; specialty cakes like Triple Chocolate Mousse and our customer favorites like Tiramisu.
Gerardo’s wedding cakes have been voted “Best of New England” by brides in “Knot” magazine for 2007, 2008 and 2009.
